Position Summary:                                                             
Assist in all functions of The Office for the Protection of Children and Youth (OPCY).  Duties include answering the door, answering phone calls/taking messages and directing them to the appropriate staff of OPCY.  Assist in administrative functions and handle multiple projects concurrently.
•           Assist in reserving rooms as needed for OPCY.
•           Answer/transfer phone calls assist caller with any questions they might have.
•           Greet guests and notify parties upon their arrival.
•           Give outgoing mail to messenger, receive incoming mail and distribute to staff.
•           Keep track and order office supplies.
•           Respond to questions that come via email.
•           Place all incoming “no priors” CANTS forms from DCFS into TRIM.
•           Translating documents and phone calls from Spanish, English and Polish when needed.
•           Respond to email requests (Canonical Office) pertaining to priest(s) compliance with OPCY.
•           Assist Mayra Flores-Safe Environment Coordinator with Site Administrator Training.


•         5+ of experience in an administrative assistant role
•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•         Excellent Microsoft Office skills
•         Ability to meet deadlines
•         Strong organizational skills
•         Ability to read, write and speak fluently in Spanish or Polish preferred
