Position Summary

This is a fast-paced role in the Archdiocese’s busy Recruitment Department. The position will have exposure to many facets of Human Resources while participating in one of our most important functions: attracting new talent to our organization. The successful candidate will work across all departments within the Archdiocese.

The Recruitment Coordinator will provide interview coordination, operational, and administrative support to the Recruitment team, hiring managers, and candidates for roles with the Archdiocese.

Responsibilities

  • Act as administrator for the applicant tracking system, and use it to generate weekly and ad hoc reports
  • Post, maintain, and update open positions on the Archdiocese website, as well as third-party websites such as LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Create and send offer letters and other communications
  • Schedule and track interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Schedule post-interview debrief/feedback meetings with interview teams
  • Request and follow up on pre-employment background checks
  • Perform reference checks
  • Initiate and coordinate hiring of temporary employees
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding
  • Assist in coordinating internships
  • Make recommendations on and participate in improving recruitment, new hire and other HR processes
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Strong service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Be comfortable and flexible working with interruptions
  • Responsiveness and acts with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to collect, analyze and report data (e.g. metrics)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Understanding, respect and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission and values
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
