Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing and Enrollment (“Director”) oversees, coordinates, and supports the system-level strategies for school marketing and enrollment in the Archdiocese. The Director designs and implements overall marketing efforts on behalf of Catholic school education. As the leader of the Marketing and Enrollment Manager Team, the Director coordinates school-level strategies in marketing and enrollment, with a particular focus on the recruitment of Hispanic families.

  • Designs and implements the system-level vision for marketing and enrollment for Catholic schools. Leverages available enrollment and demographic data in formulating this vision.
  • Defines strategies for effective school-level marketing and enrollment strategies, with particular consideration of the Hispanic population.
  • Oversees the Marketing and Enrollment Manager Team. Ensures that the performance of the Marketing and Enrollment Managers is focused on fostering effective school-level marketing strategies.
  • Works with the Chief Operating Officer of the OCS to design and implement the Tuition Discounting Tool.
  • Provides for the ongoing professional development of school-level marketing managers, including AMEN meetings, webinars, etc.
  • Attends Team School Improvement Meetings (e.g. PIP, Turnaround, etc.). Represents a voice of expertise in marketing and enrollment at these meetings.
  • Works with the Archdiocesan Director of Communications to ensure that positive happenings in Catholic schools are highlighted in local media.
  • Assists the Director of Communications with the design of the Office of Catholic Schools website, OCS social media, etc.
  • Attends OCS-related events and meetings, as required.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing in an educational, business, or non-profit field (Catholic school experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of effective marketing practices, particularly to parents of school-aged children. Ability to inspire others to support marketing strategies.
  • Superior public speaking skills. Spanish language fluency preferred.
  • Strong aptitude in information technology, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service, data management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for and commitment to the Archdiocese’s mission of Catholic education, including sensitivity to the needs of diverse school communities. Practicing Catholic preferred.
