Position Summary:

Collaborates with key professionals, especially Archdiocesan parish and Parish Vitality and Mission staff to assist in executing events and calendared projects. Responsible for the successful completion of system events, including (but not limited to) professional gatherings and retreats, award ceremonies, fund-raisers, technology conferences, and other events furthering systemic growth.                                                            


  1. Creates and coordinates Office calendar to reflect the priority of providing resources the events. *


  1. Works with parish and department staff on Archdiocesan events that range from small spiritual and formation sessions to large, 2000+ person events.*


  1. Executes responsibilities as assigned by Senior Event Coordinator.


  1. Administrative duties as assigned.


  1. May be required to assist in setting up for meetings, ordering food and/or providing general hospitality, and traveling to the meeting location with supplies.


  1. Develops and maintains relationships with archdiocesan and parish staff, product suppliers, vendors and providers.


  1. Manages on-line registration process for events.


  1. Manages payment process for events, and tracking of deposits.


  1. Serves on other committees and task forces as assigned.


  1. Pursues opportunities for spiritual and professional growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts field or related
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and administrative duties; Skills Required: experience in coordinating successful events and working with Archdiocesan parishes.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, organizational skills, relationship management skills, time management, ability to handle complex projects, collegiality, fairness, ability to engage other AoC Departments and outside vendors.
  • Must demonstrate understanding, respect and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission and values; appreciate role of schools as ministry of the Archdiocese. Must have ability to drive and have access to a car.
